ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS DOHA AND QATARI BUSINESSWOMEN ASSOCIATION PARTNERED IN ‘CONNECT TO LUXURY’ EVENT

November, 9th, 2021, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha partnered with the Qatari Businesswomen Association (QBWA) for the first-ever ‘Connect to Luxury’ event, organised by QBWA. Designed to empower women in business, the event put a spotlight on the region’s luxury segment, highlighting a shared passion for innovation, empowerment and excellence.

Hosted by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha, the afternoon gathering took place at Eiwan Al Gassar Gallery, a dynamic and engaging art space that placed the iconic Rolls-Royce Ghost on display.

“This event is titled Connect to Luxury, which is precisely our lifestyle. Whether you are behind the wheel enjoying the drive or a passenger immersing yourself in an exceptional ride, to experience a Rolls-Royce is to experience luxury” explained Mr. Hassan Al Khansa, Brand Manager at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha.

The guests were invited to explore the post-opulent design philosophy reflected by the Ghost, and hear keynote speeches from Mr Al Khansa, as well as Mrs Aisha Alfardan, Vice-President of the Qatari Businesswomen Association. The talk, entitled “Women in Luxury Business”, highlighted the important role that women play within the luxury market, understanding and providing experiences to the rapidly growing female segment.

“The concept of luxury is continually evolving and who better to understand the needs of female consumers than women business leaders?” said Mrs. Alfardan. “This event is a reminder that there is so much room for growth and that as businesswomen we can support each other to reach new heights in Qatar and beyond.” The event follows the recent unveiling of the New Black Badge Ghost, the marque’s most advanced Black Badge to date. Characterizing the alter-ego of Rolls-Royce – assertive, dynamic and potent.

The last quarter of this year is witnessing a record activity by the Qatari Businesswomen Association, where the association aims through its activities to create a link between members and the business community as a whole, and aspires to reinvigorate a network of local and international partners that aims to strengthen the role of the Association in the development of the business sector and maximize its role as a partner in the development process, while enhancing women’s contribution to the economic diversification project in accordance with Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
